It's been a while since I had last written you. I've been very busy lately. I had such a great time while I was in Europe with the Ezekiel guys! I'm left with memories that will last forever. Now I'm in Mexico for a catalog shoot with Louie Barletta and Jeremy Holmes. We've been having a great time, and I've picked up on some nice Spanish phrases to say to the ladies. Hasn't really worked yet, but I'm sure if I keep trying...
On to the Filmbot Friday. This is Austin Namba. I've told you about him before, he's the guy that wears the big clothes and has the proper tricks on his skateboard. Not long ago he went to Girl's Open House and killed it. He's been stacking some footage since then and here is some of what he has been getting.
Filmbot Fridays (May 25) Mom! I'M GOING TO EUROPE! 7 countries in 2 months! UK, France, Holland, Germany, Sweden, Finland and Russia!
Soooo... London here I come! I am flying out today and will be therefor the week! It's soo amazing, I cant wait to see all the coolest UKstuff, I just hope it doesn't cost me a fortune.
Do you remember my last two European tours? Soo fun! Third time's a charm.
Filmbot Fridays (April 20) FINALLY! Mom, you finally get to see the completed project that i've been working on for over a year. It's DONE! This is Nathan Lacoste's part from the new Momentum Un Momentum Por Favor Wheel video.
Please watch this and all the rest of the parts on momentumskate.com Thanks,
Dear Mother, I've been having rough nights lately, working tons, skate all day, editing all night. Sigh.. Did you enjoy the Hollywood Smokebreak Special, and thanks for the soup!
Randy Ploesser one of the new Birdhouse Am's and seriously, I love his skating.
I originally met him back during my very first trip to Barcelona in 2003. Randy was out there with all his St. Louis crew skating their summer away. Since then, he's moved out to Cali, ripped some spots and grabbed some sponsors. I'm psyched on his new video part, especially since I can bring it to you on Filmbot Fridays!
This is his guest part in Girl Talk. From a new skateboard company called Pretty Skateboards.Video filmed and edited by David Uthus.
Hey Mom, I'm on the run, I got this kid Bradley Sheppard from Canada staying atmy place. We're trying to skate Temecula before he takes the train backto Vancouver tomorrow. This is part from Rob Butterfields video called "Babysteps." Let meknow if your in total love with it.
And make sure to watch Jason's Leftover part from last week, plus hisnew part from 411VM.
Hey Mom, Are you back from Hawai'i, yet. It's great ain't it? Did you ever get a chance to watch Walker Ryan's Friday? It seemed like a lot of viewers didn't know that his backside flip was actually a SWITCH BACKSIDE FLIP. And believe you me, that trick has been going down on some legendary spots.
Moving on, we got our Ezekiel/Foundation/C1RCA rider Sean Conover. He sent us everything not being used in the new Foundation video Cataclysmic Abyss. So, if you think this Friday is good, then watch his new part coming out soon!!
Mother, How's your trip? Is Hawai'i everything that I told you? Hope your having a good time. I've been doing soo good, mostly been lerking around Southern California, skating, filming and even shooting some photos. Hope you didn't miss Robert Lim's Filmbot Fridays, that one was sick.
Next up is Norcal's favorite Walker Ryan, whom I met on a trip to Reno with the Ezekiel Team. You might remember him killing on that trip, and here he is again full in the flesh. Tho some of these tricks are from the 510 shop video from Berkeley, enjoy the smooth flavor of Walker Ryan!
Thanks to all the people who have been soo supportive for all the fridays.
Dear Mother, How are things? I've been tired, trade show, skating, etc. The 5Boro guys are out here in Cali for a little bit and we've been skating. Did you see the last Friday with Ryan Cooper. It was really good, and it seemed like a lot of dudes liked it.
This week is my ol' buddy Robert Lim. Robert and I have been skating together probably longer then anyone I know. This is a collaboration of footage from a smaller video called Kaleidoscope, his 5Boro part and some new gems. He has a ton more footage, but I think we're gonna hold out and save it for another day. Hope it makes you feel warm.
How are things, are you doing good? I have been able to stay around the house lately, and skating locally. I'm heading down to ASR for the tradeshow today, so that will be fun! Were you able to see Jeff Micut's Friday last week? It passed pretty fast cause of Tampa Am, so make sure to go back and have a look.
Today's friday is Ryan Cooper from Chattanooga, Tenn, the quietest guy I know. Mark introduced him to me when came out here a month ago to skate in the warm winter weather. Here is what he filmed while in Cali, lemme know if you really enjoyed it.
Oh Gosh, Mom, I totally missed writing you last week, I got sick and caught some craze stomach flu. Did you get my last post about Derek Fukuhara's Project Hardware ReDux? It turned out really good, I'm glad more people got to see it.
So about this week, Sierra Fellers lives with this kid Jeff Micut and we got some things together for a "Friday." This kid is rad, skates super hard, and is just plain cool. He also has a fun site www.calumonn.com. Take a look, AFTER you watch this gem.
Finally, finally back home! Man, it's good to be back! San Jose was fun, but enough was enough. Thanks Daryl for keeping me in stitches.
I'm back to my random schedule of being random. When I was in Canada, a couple Canuck's said they wanted to see Derek Fukuhara's Project Hardware part. So I remixed it to show you and them.
I hope you enjoy this spicy delight and will write again soon!
I'm back home from Edmonton, Canada. As fun as that was, I'm happy to be enjoying the warm weather again. Thanks tho, Nate.
A jet took me directly to Filmbot'er Daryl Angel's house in San Jose. We've been just skating around SJ, skating new spots and having a blast. Daryl is seriously hilarious, most people don't even know. Joining us was his friends, Fartson, Joe Blas, couple Enjoi kids: Jon Choi and Jon Nguyen and lastly Kid Rock.. i mean, Mike-Mo sent us an trick to add to the part!
I hope to head home next week, but not sure, I'll keep you posted.
Hawaii was damn amazing. I seriously can't wait to go back!
Unfortunately, I took a direct flight from sunny Hawai'i to frozen Edmonton Canada. What was I thinking? It's snowing and below zero here, and all I can manage to do is make hot tea and sulk about why I ever left Hawaii. Even the girls are covered up with scarves and toques, so now I'm really bumbed.
But the good thing is I'm hanging out with Nate Roline, a canuck with the smoothest style in all of Alberta. He gets stuff from C1rca, Royal, Mystery Skateboards, Whyte Wheels, Red Dragon Apparel and Plush skateshop.
I'll write again when i defrost my fingers and the ink in my pen thaws.
I know I haven't written in a while. I've been soo busy lately. Traveling everywhere with contests, meeting new friends and just skating daily.
I'm out here in Hawaii again. Hawaii seriously loves the Ezekiel team. They paid for us to fly out there twice in 6 months. So we are again, EZEKIEL in HAWAII, and mom, I'm telling you, it was COCONUTS. I'm here with Louie Barletta, Jason Wakuzawa and my new buddy, this ripper Sean Conover. Rumor has it, he did some amazing trick down Wilshire 15.
Mom, I cant believe how much fun I'm having on this trip, the sun, the girls, the skateparks. It was the most relaxing vacation.. err, i mean JOB I've ever had to do.

Sorry about last week guys, ya know Thanksgiving tickle. This week's Filmbot Fridays is a contest during September, called "Summer's End Jam" in Vancouver at the Skate Plaza.
This thing went off, it was a best trick contest jam. We picked an obstacle and dudes just killed it. We took names and tricks, and even the average tricks got paid out. Thanks to all the sponsors who made this event go on.
I recommend anyone and their brother to head up to Vancouver and skate this amazing plaza. For more info please see: filmbotfiles.com
Hello skateboarding.com kiddos, This is what I came up with sitting in front of my old hamster wheel generated computer at about 2 in the morning. It's my LA minute. M. "SCOOTER" otherwise known as Scott Decenzo, is making a tear in Vancouver skate scene. Put on Plan B flow through a direct phone call from Colin McKay, and he's one of the best grinders in Canada. Keep a close eye on this one, because when you see him on the cover of your next favorite mag, just know you saw it here first on Filmbot Fridays!!! So there, Filmbot
This week's FILMBOT FRIDAYS was from the DVS podcast, you might have seen it, you might not (Ed note: Filmbot is just lazy). But its Marty Murawski's Super Pole Jam Footage. Love it, Laugh at it, and go skate a polejammy. Filmbot
We know Ivan Lavigne from Texas because he came on a Filmbot/Ezekiel trip to Reno. He just sent in some footage for our Filmbot Fridays. Have a tickle.
The Ezekiel/Filmbot Team roll through SJ and head on up to the "Starting the party off late, bossss?" city RENO, for some exciting times and the infamous wig!
